Restrictions in Autoposting

AI SMM works with social networks exclusively officially, through the official Social Media API.

Unfortunately, some features are not yet available in the API and therefore we cannot add them to AI SMM.

Depending on the social network, there are different restrictions and file requirements for publishing.

• You can upload up to 10 media files for one post (except Linkedin – no more than 9 pieces and Twitter – no more than 4 pieces).
• On Facebook* and Linkedin you can post either videos or images in one post, other social networks have no such restrictions.

Instagram

Autoposting is available for Instagram accounts of the Author type

Available for publication: posts, reels and stories.

• Within 24 hours, a maximum of 50 publications (posts, Stories and Reels) can be posted to an account using the API. When the limit is exhausted, you can continue to post via the mobile app
• You can’t post text posts, as the social network itself is organized in such a way that it is media content that needs to be posted
• You can upload up to 10 media files per post
• Text limit for both Posts and Reels is 2200 characters and up to 30 hashtags.
• You can add the first comment (Posts)
• Location available (Posts and Reels)
• You can tag users in the post text with @
• Reels can be published to the feed

Media requirements for Instagram posts

Photo:

• Format: JPEG
• Maximum image size: 8 MB, 4096 by 4096 px
• Minimum aspect ratio 4/5, maximum aspect ratio 16/9
• 
   

Video:

• Format: MOV or MP4
• Duration – from 3 to 60 sec
• File size – up to 100 MB
• Video proportions for Instagram should be from 4:5 to 16:9
• Width and height of the video should not exceed 1920 px.

Media requirements for Instagram Stories

Photo

• Format: JPEG
• Size: maximum 8 MB
• Aspect ratio: recommended 9:16, IG will add a frame on its own for other ratios

VIDEO

• Format: MOV, MP4
• Aspect ratio: recommended 9:16
• Duration: 3-60 seconds
• File size: maximum 100 mb
• 
   

Media Requirements for Instagram Reels

• Video format: MOV, MP4
• File size: no more than 200 MB.
• Width and height of the video not more than 1080 px.
• Duration: from 3 seconds to 15 minutes.

Cover:

• Format: JPEG
• Maximum image size: 8 MB, 4096 by 4096 px
• Minimum aspect ratio 4/5, maximum aspect ratio 16/9

Telegram

Available for publishing: posts with text, photos, videos and gifs and add links.

Limits on Number of characters – 4,096, if the post has attachments – 1,024;

Number of attachments – no more than 10 in one post;

Video size – up to 200 MB and no longer than 1 minute

Facebook

• You can post either videos or images in one post
• You can add the first comment
• You can add a snippet

Linkedin

You can download:

• photos up to 9 pcs, up to 5 mb)
• video up to 200 mb.
• text up to 3000 characters
• it is possible to publish either photo or video (if video, only one).
