Prompt

A prompt is the input you give to a generative AI model: a question, a task, a description of the image you want or a set of instructions. The quality of the result depends heavily on the prompt: who the text is for, what tone to use, what to include and avoid, how long it should be and in what format.

For a small business, a few good prompt habits save hours. Give context (your business, audience, offer), be specific about the task, show an example of what you like, set limits (length, network, number of variants) and ask for several options to choose from. Save prompts that work and reuse them as templates.

Example: instead of “Write a post about our cafe”, try “Write 3 Instagram captions for a family cafe in Porto announcing a new Sunday brunch menu. Friendly tone, under 400 characters, end with an invitation to book a table via DM.”
