Short-form video

Short-form video is vertical video from a few seconds to a few minutes, made for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts and similar feeds.

Short-form video is brief, usually vertical (9:16) video designed for phone screens: TikTok videos, Instagram and Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts and similar formats. Most are between 15 and 90 seconds, often with subtitles, music and text on screen, and they are distributed mainly through recommendation feeds.

For a small business, short video is currently one of the most effective formats for reaching new people for free. It does not require expensive production: authenticity, a clear hook and one useful or entertaining idea matter more than cinematic quality. Good topics: before-and-after, quick tips, behind the scenes, answers to customer questions, and product demos.

Example: a locksmith posts a 30-second video “3 signs your door lock is about to fail”. It reaches thousands of people in the city, and several viewers call the same week.

AI SMM video clipping turns one long video (a webinar, podcast or stream) into several vertical clips with subtitles, and publishes them to TikTok, Reels and Shorts from one calendar.
