Writing to the limit

Length is not the goal. The first line is

The first 125 characters sell

On Instagram and TikTok most people read only what is visible. Put the benefit or the hook there, not a greeting.

One text, several versions

A 2 000-character caption will not fit X or Bluesky. Write a short version for them instead of cutting mid-sentence.

Telegram captions are short

A photo with text over 1 024 characters will not post as one message. Send the photo first and the long text as a separate post, or shorten it.

Write once, publish to 14 networks

AI SMM checks the length for each network before publishing and the AI studio can shorten a post for X or Telegram in one click.

Questions

Do emoji count as one character?

Visually yes, and most networks count it as one. X counts every emoji as 2, and Telegram counts some emoji as 2 because it measures in UTF-16 units. The counter follows these rules.

Why does X show a different number?

X counts any link as 23 characters regardless of length, and emoji and some scripts (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) as 2. Latin and Cyrillic letters count as 1.

Do hashtags count toward the limit?

Yes, hashtags and mentions are part of the text and count toward the character limit.

Is my text stored?

No. Everything runs in your browser; the text is not sent anywhere.
