A 4:5 image takes more of the screen than a square one. For Instagram, Facebook and Threads start with 1080×1350.
One vertical video for four networks
1080×1920 works for Reels, TikTok, Shorts and Stories. Keep text in the centre so buttons do not cover it.
Test the banner on a phone
Covers and headers are cropped differently on mobile and desktop. Put logo and text in the centre.

What is the best Instagram post size in 2026?
1080×1350 (4:5) takes the most space in the feed. The profile grid shows posts as 3:4, so keep key content away from the top and bottom edges.
What size are stories and Reels?
1080×1920 pixels, 9:16. The same size works for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Stories.
Can I upload a bigger image?
Yes, as long as the aspect ratio is the same. The network scales it down.
Why does my image look blurry in Telegram?
Telegram compresses photos. Use at least 1280 px on the long side, avoid small text, or send the image as a file.
