What it is
Constitution Day in Russia is observed on 12 December. It marks the date in 1993 when the current Constitution of the Russian Federation was adopted by a national vote, and it is a state holiday celebrated with official events and greetings.
For businesses it is a day for calm, respectful messages, a simple note about work hours and, where it suits the brand, a short educational post about citizens’ everyday rights.

Constitution Day is a good moment to remember how basic rights appear in ordinary situations: at work, in contracts and in dealing with institutions. Our team prepared a short explainer with five examples that business owners often ask about. This is general information, not legal advice. If you have a specific situation, we are happy to discuss it in a consultation.
To mark Constitution Day, we prepared a short quiz of five questions about the Constitution of the Russian Federation, written for students and curious adults. You can take it in two minutes. Answers will be shared tomorrow with links to the text. Write in the comments how many you got right and which question surprised you most.
What to avoid
- Do not use jokes or memes about the state or the text of the Constitution; keep the tone calm and respectful
- Do not mix the greeting with sales or political statements; treat it as a day for a short, neutral message
- Check every fact and quotation against the official text before you publish
When to post
- Prepare the greeting or explainer a few days ahead and check facts against the official text
- Publish on the morning of 12 December, which falls on a Saturday in 2026, and update your hours in profile or stories
- Return to regular content on Monday; if you published a quiz, share answers the next day
What to check afterwards
- Participation in the quiz or comments on the explainer
- Saves and shares of the educational post
- Questions in private messages that show interest in your topic
