Content calendar

A content calendar is a schedule that shows which posts go out on which networks, on which dates and at what time.

A content calendar is a visual schedule of your publications: date, time, network, format, topic and status (idea, draft, awaiting approval, scheduled, published). It can be a spreadsheet, a wall planner or a dedicated tool, but its job is always the same: show the whole month at a glance.

For a small business, a calendar prevents the classic pattern of posting five times in one week and then disappearing for a month. It makes gaps and overlaps obvious, helps prepare for holidays and launches in advance, and lets several people work on the same plan without confusion.

Example: a pet shop plans its month on Monday morning: two educational posts a week, one product post, a weekly Reel and stories with customer pets. Holidays and a planned sale are marked first, and everything else fills the gaps.

AI SMM has one calendar for all 14 supported networks with month, week and feed views, drafts, approvals and campaigns in one place: see social media management.
