Chrome extension: your assistant in the browser

The AI SMM extension for Chrome is an assistant in your browser. It helps you find people who are already interested in your topic and engage with them on LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Threads, at a human pace and with your approval for every comment.

What the assistant does

• Finds leads. Give it a competitor’s account or a post. It collects the people who comment there, and AI marks who fits your audience.
• Saves people to Contacts. When an email or phone is found, the person is saved to Contacts in the Inbox app with the tag “collected by extension”.
• Likes and follows people from your audience and views their stories.
• Drafts comments. It reads the post, writes a draft and waits. A comment is posted only after you approve it.

On LinkedIn it can also search for people by your criteria.

Install the extension

The extension page is app.ai-smm.com/portal/extension (“AI SMM extension for Chrome”). You can also reach it from the notification about a new version and from the SEO setup wizard. It offers a ZIP archive that works in Chrome, Edge and Brave. Installation takes about two minutes:

1. Download the ZIP and unpack it into a folder you will not delete.
2. Type chrome://extensions in the address bar.
3. Turn on Developer mode in the top right corner.
4. Click Load unpacked and choose the unpacked folder.
5. Pin the AI SMM icon, open the panel, click the button to sign in through AI SMM and allow access. If that does not work, sign in with a code instead.

When a new version comes out, you see a notice in the cabinet notifications and in the panel; the page explains how to update. The extension is available on plans that include the browser assistant.

How to run a task

1. Make sure you are logged in to the network (LinkedIn, Instagram, X or Threads) in the same Chrome.
2. Open the extension panel and describe the task, or paste a link, for example a competitor’s profile.
3. The assistant works in background tabs, so you can keep using your browser. Progress is shown in the panel.
4. When a comment draft is ready, read it, edit it if needed and send it yourself, or skip it. On LinkedIn the draft waits for you in a background tab.

The assistant narrates every step in the panel and asks before acting on a site. It never presses “Publish”, “Pay” or “Delete”: those are always your clicks.

Limits and safety

• The assistant works in your own browser, from your own login, at a human pace.
• It keeps to hourly and daily limits for likes, follows, comments and story views for each network. When a limit is reached, it waits.
• Nothing is commented on without your approval.
• Networks set their own rules for automated activity. Keep the volume moderate and focus on relevant people, not on numbers.

Is there a mobile app?

AI SMM works in any browser on a computer, tablet or phone, so there is no separate app to install. Approvals and notifications come to Telegram, and the Telegram Mini App has a full post editor. The extension works in desktop Chrome only.

Tips

• Start with one competitor and a few dozen people. Look at who AI marked as a fit before scaling up.
• Edit drafts so they add something to the conversation: a question, an example, your experience.
• Follow up with found people from the Inbox or a chat flow, not with a copy-paste message.
