What it is
The International Day of Families is observed on 15 May. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly in the early 1990s to draw attention to the role of families and to the issues that affect them, and each year the UN usually suggests a theme.
For businesses it is a warm, wide-open occasion: families come in all shapes, and the day works best for brands that serve children, parents, home, food or leisure. Show real families that already use your product, with their consent.

Places are limited, so message us to reserve. Tell us in the comments what tradition your family loves most.
Families come in all sizes, and we have tables for all of them. On the International Day of Families we offer a shared menu for four or more and a special children's corner with colouring pages. Book ahead for larger groups. Share a photo from your family table in the comments, and we will print our favourite for the wall.
On the International Day of Families we collected things the whole family can use together: board games, picnic sets, books and cosy blankets. Open the catalogue from the menu button and tell us the number of people and ages, and we will suggest a set. Orders are packed with care and delivered with a short card.
Meme and trend formats that fit
- Family group chat. A light joke about the family chat where everyone sends different messages at once. Keep it affectionate and avoid targeting any family member.
- Expectation vs reality. Two panels: the perfect family photo you planned and the actual one with a child making a face. Warm and recognisable for parents.
What to avoid
- Do not show only one type of family; use an inclusive tone for all kinds of families
- Do not publish photos of children without parents’ clear consent
- Avoid giving parenting advice you cannot support with expertise
When to post
- Prepare the offer and the photos two weeks ahead and get consent from every family you show
- Publish on the morning of 15 May and keep the Stories going during the day
- The day after, thank participants and share the best photos with permission
What to check afterwards
- Comments with family traditions and photos
- Bookings or orders of family packages
- Saves and shares of the carousel
