What it is
World Wildlife Day is observed on 3 March and was proclaimed by the United Nations to celebrate wild animals and plants and to raise awareness of threats to them. The date is usually linked to the signing of an international agreement on trade in endangered species.
It suits pet businesses, children’s brands and travel companies, which can tell stories about local nature, explain simple ways to help and support verified nature organisations.
