Popup

A popup is a window that appears on a website to offer something, such as a discount, a subscription or a lead form, at the right moment.

A popup is a window or panel that appears over a web page: on arrival, after a few seconds, when the visitor scrolls or when they are about to leave (exit intent). Popups can offer a discount for a first order, collect emails or phone numbers, announce a sale, show social proof or invite people to a chat.

For a small business, a well-timed popup turns anonymous visitors (who usually leave without buying) into leads you can contact again. Badly used popups annoy people: showing instantly, covering the whole screen on a phone or reappearing on every page. Show one clear offer, to the right people, at a sensible moment.

Example: an online tea shop shows first-time visitors a small popup after 20 seconds: “10% off your first order, just leave your email”. The code arrives by email, and the shop’s list grows every week.

AI SMM popups include templates, targeting, A/B tests, social proof and urgency widgets, plus conversion tracking and attribution that show which popup brought which sale.
