What it is
Photographer’s Day in Russia is an informal professional day marked on 12 July. It is usually linked to the church day of St Veronica, who is traditionally considered the patron of photographers because of the legend of the image on her veil.
Today it is a day when photographers share their best frames and brands thank the people behind their pictures. For any business with a visual product it is a natural moment to credit authors and talk about image quality.
