What it is
Ivan Kupala Day is a traditional midsummer festival among Eastern Slavs. In the Orthodox calendar it is usually linked to the feast of the Nativity of John the Baptist, and the folk customs include weaving flower wreaths, bonfires and water traditions.
Today many people treat it as a folk and summer celebration, and brands can use it for warm seasonal visuals, crafts and stories about tradition, with a careful, respectful tone.
