What it is
World Nature Conservation Day is observed on 28 July and is dedicated to the careful use of natural resources and the protection of the environment. It is not a public holiday in most countries, but environmental groups, schools and businesses mark it online.
For a business it is a chance to show one real, specific step: refills, repair, less packaging, a local supplier. A small honest action works better than a grand statement.

For World Nature Conservation Day we want to talk about one small thing: the cup. If you bring your own, we will pour your drink into it, and we will say thank you with a smile. It is a tiny change that adds up over time. Do you carry a reusable cup? Tell us in the comments and share your tip for remembering it.
Today is World Nature Conservation Day, and we are glad to share a change in our work: for some products you can now bring the empty container and refill it instead of buying new packaging. We are also testing a repair option for items that can still be used. Write in the chat which product you would like us to add next.
On World Nature Conservation Day we would like to be specific rather than loud. In our office we moved to printing only when necessary, switched to shared lunches without single-use packaging and started using local suppliers where possible. We are not perfect, and we know there is more to do. What small step has worked in your company?
Meme and trend formats that fit
- Before and after. Two panels: a pile of disposable items on the left, the reusable alternative on the right. Keep the tone friendly, not preachy.
- Expectation vs reality. Expectation: a perfect zero-waste life; reality: a bag with one reusable item that you finally remembered. The self-irony makes it easy to relate.
What to avoid
- Do not use greenwashing: do not claim your product is eco-friendly or sustainable without a concrete, verifiable detail
- Do not shame people for not being perfect; invite small steps instead
- Do not use images of polluted places as clickbait, and do not post a discount that encourages unnecessary buying
When to post
- Prepare a real action or a refill offer a few weeks ahead, since the post needs something true to say
- Publish on the morning of 28 July and keep the follow-up in Stories
- The day after, show how many people joined and thank them without turning it into an advertisement
What to check afterwards
- Saves and shares of the tips carousel
- Number of people who used the refill, bring-your-own or repair option
- Comments with their own habits, which show how engaged the audience is with the topic
