What it is
Builder’s Day in Russia is a professional holiday of construction workers, celebrated on the second Sunday of August. It is usually linked to the Soviet-era calendar of professional days and remains popular among construction companies, developers and renovation teams.
Today it is a day of thanks and of showing results: finished houses, renovated flats, before-and-after photos and the people who built them.
Symbols: A hard hat, a trowel, a level, blueprints, a crane against the sky, a finished house

Today is Builder’s Day, and we want to say thank you to the people who turn drawings into homes. Behind every finished building there are early mornings, careful measurements and hands that know their craft. Congratulations to our foremen, bricklayers, electricians and finishers. Tell us in the comments about a builder who did a great job for you.
For Builder’s Day we show one of our recent projects: a small flat, before and after. The most difficult part was the old wiring and uneven walls, and the team handled it in several stages. If you are planning a renovation, write to us in the chat, tell us the size of the room, and we will explain how the work usually goes.
Builder’s Day is a good reminder that every construction project depends on people we rarely see in presentations. Safe work, honest schedules and clear communication make the difference on site. Thank you to our partners, contractors and the teams that deliver. What helped you most in working with a contractor this year? We would like to learn from your experience.
Meme and trend formats that fit
- Expectation vs reality. Two panels: the renovation timeline in the plan and the one in real life. Keep it self-ironic and never mock a real foreman or client.
- Before and after. A real transformation of a room, without filters. The picture should speak for the quality of the work.
What to avoid
- Do not use stock photos of smiling workers; show your real team, with their consent
- Do not promise exact timelines or results in the day’s post, and do not use the day for a hard sale
- Do not show unsafe work practices, such as people on site without protective equipment
When to post
- Prepare the project photos and the thanks to the team two weeks ahead
- Publish in the morning of the Sunday itself, and share a story during the day
- The day after, reply to inquiries and ask permission to share the best comments
What to check afterwards
- Inquiries and direct messages about renovation or purchase
- Saves of the checklist or the before-and-after carousel
- Profile visits and new followers from B2B accounts
