What it is
Republic Day is a public holiday in Kazakhstan observed on 25 October. It is linked to the declaration of state sovereignty adopted in 1990, and it is a day of official ceremonies and a day off for many people.
For businesses working in Kazakhstan the main job is practical and respectful: tell customers your holiday hours, send a short, sincere greeting and, if it fits your brand, highlight local people or products.
Symbols: The national flag, the sun and steppe eagle of the state emblem, a shanyrak, national ornaments
Emoji: 🇰🇿 🦅 ☀️ 🌾 🤝 🏔️
Colours: Sky blue, golden yellow, white
Hashtags: #RepublicDay #Kazakhstan #MadeInKazakhstan #SupportLocal #HolidayHours
What to aim for
- Tell customers clearly whether you are open and your holiday hours
- Express respect to your audience with a calm, sincere greeting
- Show local products and people behind your business
Post ideas by format
Post
- A simple greeting with the flag colours and your holiday hours, in Kazakh and Russian if your audience speaks both
- A short note on a local product or supplier in Kazakhstan that you work with, with real names and permission
Carousel
- “Made in Kazakhstan”: one slide per local product in your range, with a short real description
- “Holiday hours by branch”: one slide per location with clear opening times
Reel / short video
- Hook: “A day off in our city.” A quiet, scenic Reel with places that you honestly like
- A short team greeting: each person says one sentence of congratulation, filmed simply
Stories
- A story with the holiday-hours sticker and a question box: “What do you plan for the day off?”
- A calm poll: “Which local product should we feature next week?”

Happy Republic Day to everyone in Kazakhstan. We are open on 25 October with our usual hours, from morning coffee to evening tea. Come by with family or friends after a walk, and take a moment to enjoy the day off. Thank you for being with us. Tell us in the comments how you like to spend this day.
Congratulations on Republic Day! A short note: on the holiday and the days around it, the delivery schedule may change a little. Orders placed now are packed on the next working day, and we will write to you here if anything shifts. Thank you for your patience and for choosing us. Enjoy the day off and take care of yourself and your family.
On Republic Day we want to say thank you to the producers in our country whose goods we sell. We know many of them personally and are proud to work with them. Come in this week and ask us about local products on our shelves. We wish everyone a calm holiday and a good time with the people they love.
What to avoid
- Do not use jokes, memes or casual slang with national symbols, the flag, the anthem or the emblem; keep the tone respectful
- Do not attach aggressive sale banners to the holiday greeting; a clear note about hours or delivery is enough
- Do not invent historical details; if you mention the history of the day, check it against official sources
When to post
- Publish holiday hours 3–5 days ahead so customers can plan
- Post the greeting on the morning of Sunday, 25 October 2026, or the last working day before it
- After the holiday, return to the normal schedule and thank customers who visited
What to check afterwards
- Questions about hours and delivery, which show whether the information was clear
- Visits and orders over the holiday weekend compared with a normal one
- Shares of the greeting from local customers
