What it is
Father's Day in Russia is observed on the third Sunday of October. It was officially recognised in 2021, although informal celebrations of the day had appeared in Russian regions before that.
For businesses it is a warm family day: a good moment to publish gift ideas, to show dads from your team and to offer something a father and child can do together.
Symbols: A tie, a mug for dad, tools, a father’s hand holding a child’s hand, a fishing rod

Ready-made post examples
Layouts we wrote as examples. Replace the details with your own business before you publish.
Father's Day is on Sunday, and we have gathered a short gift guide: something for the garage, something for coffee in the morning and something for the weekend. Each item is a thing a dad will actually use. Tell us in the comments what your dad likes, and we will suggest a gift for his taste. No stress, there is still time.
This Sunday, for Father's Day, we are inviting fathers and children to a workshop where they build something together: a bird feeder, a small boat or a clay figure. No special skills are needed, only a little patience. Places are limited, so write to us here if you would like to join, and we will confirm the time and the details.
On Father's Day, we asked the dads on our team to tell us one thing their children taught them. The answers were funny and touching: patience, how to play with building blocks, how to slow down on a weekend. Happy Father's Day to everyone who is raising a child with love. Tell us in the comments what your child taught you.
Meme and trend formats that fit
- Dad jokes. A classic dad-joke pun adapted to your product, shown as a short text card or a Reel. Keep it warm and light, and avoid jokes that make dads look incompetent.
- Expectation vs reality. A dad's plan for a perfect weekend with the child against what really happens: a pillow fort and cartoons. A gentle, self-ironic format that works for parents.
What to avoid
- Do not assume every follower has a dad or a good relationship with one; write inclusively, for example “dads and father figures”
- Do not use gender clichés such as “men do not cook”; avoid jokes about fathers who are absent or incompetent
- Do not use children's photos without parents' consent
When to post
- Publish the gift guide 7–10 days ahead so people can order and receive in time
- Post the warm story on the morning of Sunday, 18 October 2026
- The day after, share a few photos of dads and children from your events, with their consent
What to check afterwards
- Orders from the gift guide, if you use a distinct link or mention
- Registrations for the dad-and-child activity
- Comments and shares of the stories, which show emotional resonance
