What it is
The March equinox is the astronomical start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere and of autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. On this day the Sun is above the equator, and day and night are nearly equal in length. The exact date shifts slightly, usually around 20 March.
Many cultures link it to renewal and new beginnings, which makes it a natural moment for businesses to announce a spring schedule, a new season or a fresh start.
Symbols: Balance, a sunrise, first buds, fresh flowers, open windows

Meme and trend formats that fit
- Winter me vs spring me. Two panels showing your team or product in winter and spring mode, with a light caption about the change of season. Keep it friendly and use real photos.
- Expectation vs reality. Two panels: the sunny spring weather you hope for and the March rain that arrives. A shared, harmless joke about the weather works well.
What to avoid
- Do not claim the date is the same everywhere or for everyone: it is the start of autumn in the Southern Hemisphere, so address your own audience
- Do not invent astrological or health claims about the equinox
- Do not overload the post with offers; the day is about a fresh start
When to post
- Prepare the spring schedule and visuals one to two weeks ahead
- Publish in the morning of the equinox, which is usually around 20 March; check the exact date for your year
- The day after, share early spring photos and remind about any seasonal offers
What to check afterwards
- Saves of the spring checklist or route carousel
- Clicks on the new schedule or seasonal offer
- Replies to the first-sign-of-spring question
