What it is
Medical Worker's Day is a professional holiday in Russia, observed on the third Sunday of June. It dates back to the Soviet era, when it was introduced in 1980, and it is now an occasion to thank doctors, nurses, paramedics and other health-care staff.
Clinics, pharmacies and wellness brands use the day to thank their own teams, to introduce their doctors to patients and to offer practical help to medical workers, always in a respectful way.
