What it is
Olympic Day is observed on 23 June and marks the founding of the International Olympic Committee in 1894. It is usually presented as a day to encourage people of all ages to try sport, not only to watch it.
Sports clubs, schools and family brands use it for open training sessions, mini-competitions and simple sports facts.

Today is Olympic Day, and our invitation is simple: try something new. This week our coaches are opening a few sessions where nobody needs experience, only comfortable shoes and curiosity. Write to us to choose a sport and reserve a place. Tell us in the comments which sport you have always wanted to try.
To mark Olympic Day, we are hosting a mini family competition: relay, long jump and a balance course. Parents and children play in one team, and everyone gets a small certificate. Message us to sign up your family. Share in the comments which event your child will win, and which one will be yours.
Thinking about trying a new sport after Olympic Day? Here is a simple starter checklist: comfortable shoes, a water bottle, a light bag and a plan for the first week. Save this pin and choose your sport by comparing the equipment you already have. Our team can help you pick the basics if you write to us.
Meme and trend formats that fit
- Expectation vs reality. Two panels: a heroic Olympic-style plan and your own weekend workout. Keep it self-ironic and kind to beginners.
- Sport by weather. A simple graphic that matches a sport to the kind of weather or mood. Light and shareable, with no reference to specific athletes.
What to avoid
- Do not use the Olympic rings or the official Olympic logos and slogans in your branding without permission; they are protected
- Avoid comparing customers to professional athletes or promising results
- Do not shame beginners: keep an inclusive tone, with easy versions of every exercise
When to post
- Announce an event a week ahead so families can plan
- Publish an invitation and a simple challenge on the morning of 23 June
- The day after, share photos from the event and offer a next-session date
What to check afterwards
- Sign-ups and attendance at the event or trial class
- Saves and shares of the exercise carousel
- Replies to the poll and quiz stories
