What it is
Dentist Day is a professional day for dental specialists. In Russia it is widely marked on 9 February, a date usually linked to St Apollonia, who is traditionally regarded as the patron saint of dentists and dental patients. Other dates for similar professional days exist in different countries, so check which one your audience uses.
For clinics it is a chance to introduce the team, explain procedures calmly and break the fear of the dental chair with a human, friendly tone.

Today is Dentist Day, and we would like you to meet the people behind the masks. Our doctors love their work, they have a few jokes ready and they will always explain every step before they start. If you have been postponing a check-up, this is your gentle reminder. Send us your questions about teeth in the comments and our doctors will answer them in stories.
On Dentist Day we want to clear up a few myths about whitening. Not every product suits every person, and the right method depends on the condition of your teeth and gums, which only a dentist can assess. Before you try anything at home, ask your doctor. Have a question about whitening or sensitivity? Write it in the comments, and our dentist will reply.
Healthy teeth are the base of a beautiful smile. In this video our dentist shows how to brush for two minutes and why the gum line matters. Save it and brush along tonight. Smile makeovers start with good habits, and every great look begins with a routine check-up. Tell us in the comments which dental question you have always wanted to ask.
Meme and trend formats that fit
- Expectation vs reality. Left: the dreaded dentist visit as people imagine it. Right: the calm reality of a quick check-up with a friendly doctor. This reassures nervous patients, so keep it warm and free of horror.
- Dental chair POV. A short POV clip from the chair in which the doctor explains every step in plain language, and a text overlay says what the patient is thinking. End with a calm line to show that fear is normal and manageable.
What to avoid
- Do not promise guaranteed results of treatments or before-and-after claims that suggest the same outcome for everyone
- Do not shame people for skipped check-ups or for the condition of their teeth
- Do not give individual medical advice in comments; invite people to book a consultation
When to post
- Prepare the team photo and the Reel a week ahead and get the doctors’ approval; 9 February 2027 is a Tuesday
- Publish in the morning, and make a doctor available for questions during the day
- The day after, answer the remaining questions and remind patients about booking a check-up
What to check afterwards
- Appointment requests and new patient messages that mention the post
- Saves and shares of the myths and first-visit carousels
- Questions in comments, which show what patients are afraid of and what to write about next
