What it is
Realtor’s Day is an informal professional day for real estate agents in Russia, widely cited as 8 February. The date is not an official public holiday and is not fixed by law, so different sources sometimes mention other dates; it is simply the one most often used by the industry.
It is a good moment for agencies and independent agents to thank colleagues and clients, show how the work is actually done and share practical advice for buyers and sellers.
Symbols: A house key, a door with a bow, a floor plan, a for-sale sign, a signing pen

Colours: Deep blue, warm beige, gold

What to aim for
- Build personal trust: real estate sells on the person behind the deal
- Show your expertise with practical, free checklists
- Strengthen contacts with colleagues, developers and partners
Post ideas by format
Post
- A greeting to colleagues and partners, with one honest sentence about what the profession really involves
- Five questions to ask before buying a flat, short and practical

- “From viewing to keys”: the steps of a deal, one stage per slide, with what the client should prepare
Reel / short video
- Hook: “A day in the life of a realtor.” A 30-second cut of calls, viewings, documents and keys handed over
- Three questions clients ask most often, with a short, honest answer to each
Stories
- A quiz: “Which of these documents do you need to sell a flat?” with the answer in the next story

Today is our professional day, and we want to thank the clients who trusted us with one of the biggest choices of their lives. Behind every set of keys there are viewings, documents and long conversations. Tell us in the comments what was the hardest part of your own home search, and we will prepare a separate guide on it.
For Realtor’s Day we put together a short checklist for anyone looking at a flat. First: who owns it and for how long. Second: are there any encumbrances. Third: how many people are registered there. Fourth: what are the utility costs and the condition of the building. Fifth: what is included in the price. Save the list and send your own question to the chat, and we will answer it in the next post.
From the outside, the job looks like showing flats and signing a contract. In reality it is negotiation, checking documents, explaining and, often, psychology: people are making a decision for years ahead. On Realtor’s Day we thank the colleagues who work honestly and see deals through. What would you wish for the profession? Tell us in the comments.
Meme and trend formats that fit
- Expectation vs reality. Left: the picture people imagine, with keys, a smile and a sunset. Right: a realtor with four phones and a folder of documents. Keep the joke about the job’s rhythm, not about clients.
- Open-house sign. Describe a layout of a funny viewing sign, such as “Viewing on Saturday: coffee included”. Use your own drawing, and make sure the joke does not hide real details of the property.
What to avoid
- Do not publish real clients’ names, addresses, documents or photos of their homes without written permission
- Do not promise guaranteed prices, returns or deal terms; speak about the process, not the outcome
- Do not state the date as an official holiday: say it is a professional day that is widely marked in the industry
When to post
- Prepare the checklist and the Reel a week ahead; 8 February 2027 is a Monday
- Publish in the morning of the day, when colleagues are exchanging greetings
- The day after, answer the questions from the question box in a separate post
What to check afterwards
- Saves and shares of the buyer checklist
- Messages and calls from the people who read it, with a note of what they asked
- Replies from colleagues and partners, helping you build your professional network
