What it is
World Intellectual Property Day is observed on 26 April and was established by the World Intellectual Property Organization, WIPO. It highlights how patents, trademarks, designs and copyright support creativity and innovation.
For small businesses it is a rare chance to explain, in plain words, what you protect and why: your brand name, your designs, your original photos and your texts.
