What it is
National Coffee Day is an informal American day observed on 29 September, two days before International Coffee Day on 1 October. Its roots are usually linked to the coffee industry and cafe culture rather than to an official body.
Cafes and roasters treat it as a warm-up to International Coffee Day: a chance to talk about coffee, baristas and regulars.
