What it is
World Heart Day is observed on 29 September and is led by the World Heart Federation. It raises awareness of heart and circulatory health and encourages simple, everyday habits.
For clinics, fitness studios and health brands it is a day to share general, reliable information and invite people to move more, always pointing to doctors for personal questions.

Today is World Heart Day. You do not need a big workout to start: a brisk ten-minute walk at lunch, taking the stairs, a short stretch in the evening. Small steps repeated every day are easier to keep. Tell us in the comments what your easiest daily movement is, and we will gather the best ideas in Stories. Check with your doctor before changing your routine.
On World Heart Day we remind you that a regular visit to a doctor is one of the simplest forms of care. Talk with your doctor about blood pressure, activity, nutrition and family history. This post is general information and is not a diagnosis. If you have symptoms or questions about your heart, contact a medical professional. You can ask our team about appointments in the comments.
Here is an everyday lunch idea for World Heart Day: whole grains, lots of vegetables, a handful of nuts and a little olive oil. Nothing complicated, just things that fit into a regular week. This is general inspiration, not medical advice. If you follow a special diet, ask your doctor first. Tell us your favourite quick lunch and we will share the best ones here.
What to avoid

- Do not make health claims about products or supplements
When to post
- Prepare content a week ahead and have a doctor or qualified specialist review every health statement

What to check afterwards
- Saves and shares of the information carousel
