What it is
World Teachers' Day is observed on 5 October and is marked by UNESCO and its partners to honour teachers around the world. In Russia the date is also the official Teachers' Day, widely celebrated in schools and by families.
Businesses use it to thank teachers, support education and show how their products or services help learning.

Today is Teachers' Day. Thank you to the people who stay after class, who explain one more time and who notice a quiet child in the back row. Write in the comments the first name of a teacher you want to thank, with one thing they taught you. We will gather your words in Stories and pass them on to teachers we know.
On World Teachers' Day we thank everyone who teaches, in classrooms, courses and online. A good teacher does not only share information; they show how to learn. Our team remembers the teachers who made them curious. Which teacher shaped how you work today, and what exactly did they do?
If you would like to thank a teacher, we have collected small ideas: a good notebook, a pen, a set for the desk, a card to write by hand. Open the catalogue from the menu and tell us your budget, and we will suggest three options. A short, sincere message from a student is often remembered longer than any present.
Meme and trend formats that fit
- Teacher in memory. A warm illustrated card showing the lesson as a student remembers it versus how it really was. Keep it affectionate and never mock a specific teacher.
- Expectation vs reality of homework. Two panels about a parent’s plan for a calm study evening and the real one. The joke should be about the situation, not about teachers or children.
What to avoid
- Do not turn the day into a sales banner; a gift idea is fine, a big discount headline is not
- Do not use children’s photos or names without parental permission
- Do not joke about teachers’ pay or workload in a mocking way
When to post
- Collect thank-you stories and drawings a week ahead, with permission
- Publish in the morning of 5 October
- The day after, share the best stories and thank everyone who took part
What to check afterwards
- Comments with names and thank-you stories
- Shares by parents and teachers
- Enquiries from schools or teachers about cooperation
